About the Role
We are seeking an experienced GIS Analyst to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for working on image processing in general and feature extraction from Satellite, UAV and LiDAR and building spatial database in GIS format in particular to meet customer needs and business goals.
Key Responsibilities:
- Satellite Image: Pre- Processing, Transformation from Raster to Vector and building in to GIS for Analysis.
- Multi-thematic vector data processing and integration.
- Participation in Field validation of results.
- Technical Documentation/Presentation.
- Feature Extraction from Satellite/ UAV/ LiDAR images.
- Strong knowledge on Background image, digital image processing.
- Vector data editing, labelling and organization in GIS format.
- Capability/ proficiency of working Independently in Vector GIS.
- Experience in field validation and data compilation.
- Efficient in Vector data processing in GIS environment independently.
- Knowledge Proficiency in Remote Sensing Applications, Image Processing Techniques.
Requirements
- Bachelor Degree or Master Degree in Science/Engineering or a related field.
- 10 years of relevant experience.
- Knowledge Proficiency in GIS/CAD.
- Efficiency of data extraction and labelling.
- Strength in building GIS database.
- Excellent critical & problem-solving skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with documentation.
