PIXEL supports Computer Training Initiative at Rotary Seva Kendra (RSK).
Rotary Seva Kendra has been functional in Deepanjali Nagar supported by Rotary Bangalore Vijayanagar over the last 6 years conducting tailoring classes for the needy women from nearby area. RSK. Over 400 women have benefited from this, and they are either employed in the garment units nearby or started their tailoring outfits. Recently, based on the request of the locals thanks to the support extended by PIXEL SOFTEK, a computer training facility has been established to begin with five computers. Two batches are being trained currently which are attended by students of High School as well as PU from the nearby areas. The initial feedback for this initiative has been highly encouraging with few more students being waitlisted. The initial plan is to provide training on the basics of computers and going further plans are also on the anvil to provide them specialized training related to tally and GST for commerce graduates.
